Dividend Payout Ratio (DPR) = ( Yearly Dividend / Yearly Earnings ) * 100

How to Caculate DPR

Example Company A reported a net income of $20,000 for the year.

In the same time period, Company A declared and issued $5,000 of dividends to its shareholders.

The Dividend Payout Ratio (DPR) calculation is as follows

DPR = $5,000 / $20,000

DPR = 25%
