In Loving Memory of Kelly George Liakos, December 14, 1954 - February 28, 2010

My name is Kelly Liakos and I have been teaching Calculus since 1983.
I developed the website Calculus7.com which contains animations, graphics, and lecture notes which I have developed from teaching Calculus over the past 25 years.
This is the companion site to Calculus7.com .
It  contains the formats used to develop the animations seen on my other
web site Calculus7.com . In the coming days I'll be adding much more.
In developing this website it occured to me that in some ways it may be more instructional than the original. In learning to create your own animations you will find that you have to know the Calculus as much as you need to know Mathcad.
As you will see the limiting factor on what you can create is not the software but rather your mathematical ability.
To learn how to create your own animations go the page Animation Format Files.
The actual animation files are the links in blue.
Lessons on basic graphing techniques you need are in red.
Actual animations are in green.

This site is dedicated to all who would learn Calculus. I would also like to express my gratitude to the late Dr Robert Long who gave the me the best advice on teaching I ever got in my life:

" If you want to be a great teacher never take an education class - just know what the hell you're talking about and then just talk about it"
